The weekend

So finally I have posted! This past weekend was quite busy but very fun! Thursday night we went to Shayna and Maylie's dance recital in Springville. They were so cute and did awesome. They love to dance. On friday I went over to play with Ashton and Gracee Mae. It was alot of fun! Ashton and I dug thru the dirt for worms and rolly pollys( potato bugs if your not familiar with the name which I was not but this is what Ashton calls them). We collected a bunch of them in a bucket and he carried them around calling them his buddies. He was not so sure at first about putting them back in the ground, he really wanted to keep them and play with them. But after some convincing from his mom he put them back in the dirt. He loved picking them up and some he named some he called grandma and grandpas some were Aunt Jayne some of them were mom and dad and Gracee. He is hillarious!!! Gracee mae sat in the dump truck whileand push her around, she loved it until Ashton took over and nearly dumped her out then she was done. On Saturday we were going to go shooting but since the dang weather wouldn't cooperate we played pool with Heather, Kepu and Roberts parents. Later that evening I took Shayna and Maylie to see Hannah Montana. It was a great family show I would see it again , the girls loved it they wanted to buy it and go home and watch it again. As we were walking out to the parking lot Maylie turned to me and said "Jayne I think I will change my name to Mylie" "I said but I like Maylie better and you are much cuter than her" Aren't kids funny! On Sunday after church we had dinner at Karols. It was so delicous as always. After dinner we played the wii. I then became the tent/bed. Lucy covered my with about 10 blankets and layed on top of me to watch the t.v. It was fun to play with her. So that was filled with fun and excitement! I truly have wonderful family and friends. I am grateful for all of them and the specialness each one brings to me.

Easter

So today was a a day filled with FUN! First of this morning we went to an Easter egg Hunt at "Granny's" house. This is Roberts grandma. Her and Robert had hid 103 eggs for 4 children to find! Some adults including myself helped out with finding some of the eggs. Just cant stay away from candy. Ill be glad when Easter is over and the candy is gone. ha ha ha. It was fun but very cold and just starting to rain. We had a yummy lunch afterwards. Next we went to my Moms house for an egg hunt there and a yummy dinner there. As you can see in the pics Rossen, Haylie and Lynnsie had to show us their beautiful dresses and handsome attire they will be sporting tommorrow. We had a lot of fun at both places its so good to be with family and see the kids have so much fun finding eggs. Ashton loved finding his eggs and helping his baby sister find hers. Everytime he opened his egg he would let out a scream and run around showing everyone what was in the egg. He cracks me up. Shayna and Maylie had fun finiding eggs with their cousins. They play so good together. After lunch I played hide the sock game with Maddison and Maylie. They thought that was so fun. Its funny what kids think is so amusing! I am glad that we were able to spend time with everyone. I am looking forward to Church tom. Easter Sunday is my favorite of all times. I am grateful for Jesus and all he did for us to live on the Earth today. Hope everyone has a Happy Easter.

Mopars at the strip

Over the weekend we went to Vegas. We stayed in our trailer at the speedway just outside of Vegas. It was way fun and very nice weather like 85 degrees. The dogs stayed in the air conditioned trailer on Friday. But on Saturday a breeze kicked off and it was perfect weather for them to be out and about. We rented a golf cart to drive around in and the dogs just loved it. No walking around for them. All the people there had to stop and pet them and take pictures of them. It was great. We watched some races and toured the show cars. It was a fun weekend to get away. And now I have a sunburned neck and arms to show for it!!!! In one of these pictures you can see a little diesel powered car that went 160 mph in 8.9 seconds it was awesome. The alcohol powered Hemi car that went 200 mph in 6.8 seconds. The picture of Cash laying on the couch was shortly after a brief walk across the parking lot. He is abviously out of shape! Sammy is being held under the a/c by Robert trying to get cooled off and his hair is blowing everywhere! And now they are so tired from their long trip they are all half asleep. They can't even hold their eyes open!

Sunday Afternoon

Today we went to Robert's secret ice fishing spot. We had lots of fun reeling in big fish. I think I got the biggest one though. It was a really warm day. Close to 56 degrees. There is one picture of me freaking out trying to pic the flopping fish up. (didn't post that one) It was a good day to be outside just the two of us.

Valentines

So Robert and I decided to go stay at the Anniversary Inn in Logan. It was really nice to get away and relax. (And no dogs). As you know all three of our dogs sleep with us and they have to be let out 2-3 times in the night. So it was great to sleep 10 straight hours. Its been awhile since we've done that. We stayed in the Carribean Sea Cave. I forgot to take a picture. I took the camera and still didn't remember. It was painted like the ocean with fish and dolphins on the wall. The tub had a huge waterfall in it. We had a good time. I gave Robert a new wedding ring. His old one was tarnished and very scratched up. We went to Sizzler for dinner and still had to wait at least 30 minutes to get a seat. I am glad to have my husband he is the greatest husband ever!!!!!!!!!

LONG AND BUSY!

ok ok so I am so far behind on my blog. I guess I haven't had much to post. But this weekend we went up to Schofield snowmobiling with some friends. We arrived on Friday afternoon and stayed in a cabin and snowmobiled most of the day on Saturday. It was so much fun!! Our friends 4 kids and our 3 dogs went with us. The dogs actually loved being on the sleds. Peanut is all about the outdoors so he was very happy and content. Sammy he is just about 4 pounds but loved jumping through the snow out into the field until you almost couldn't see him anymore. He would come back just shivering and drenched. The kids had fun sleddding and riding around. We ate tons and tons of food, and watched movies. We really had a blast so thanks guys for going with us. Everyone is doing well at our house I am finally getting over the broncitis/cold that I have had since the 20th of December.
Last week I was able to go shopping with my mom, Natalie, Ashton and Gracee Mae. Gracee had her ears pierced. I was a little nervous to see how she would react but two girls pierced each sde at the same time and Gracee cried for 30 seconds and they handed her a sucker and the she stopped. She was happy with her sucker. She is a tough little girl. She kinda has to be with a brother like Ashton, he sure loves to play with her. A few weeks ago me and Robert went to Paul Blart Mall cop with Jared and Natalie. It was the funniest movie I have seen in a long time. I loved it and cant wait till it comes out on DVD. A few weeks ago we celebrated my moms birthday at my house. We had burnt lasagna ( here again is why don't do much cooking at our house). It was fun to hang out with the family. We had a Wii bowling tournament. It was so hiliarious to see everyone so serious and even my Dad was into it. So sorry its a boring and long post but now your caught up. I will get better about staying on top of it!!!

Family Pictures

So when my sister and her family came into town we had family pictures. The last time we did this was about 2 years ago. And when we did we had only 1 dog Peanut, so we had a picture taken with him in it and I loved it. So this year we now have 3 dogs I thought well forget it I really dont want to try and wrestle all 3 of them and Cash is such a fat dog Its all I can do to hold him for a short time. So it was just me and Robert.

We had a hard time getting everyone to hold still and smile but this was the best we could do. Also it was a very sunny day so everyone was squinting. I am glad to have these updated photos.

So this last weekend Robert and I went snomobiling on Saturday. It was great it was a sunny day but not really warm. But we dressed for the occasion. We went up to the top of Lake Creek and then out through the powder. It was so awesome and I a really getting the hang of riding the side of the snowmobile so I can turn much easier. After we got home Robert decided to take me to go see 7 pounds the movie. And if you know Robert well enough he dosent go to movies. It was a sad show but a good sad. The lady next to us was sobing through the whole thing. After it was over he said he will never go to a movie again. I was glad to spend the day with him. And thanks hun for being so nice and taking me to a movie.
