My Christmas present

So this is what Robert gave me for Christmas. I am so excited cant wait to go for a ride. Robert

kept saying on Christmas Eve "guess I'll go bring your present in". On Christmas morning I was wondering why their was nothing under the tree. So we get ready to leave for the day and tells me to follow him out to the trailer and there it was!!!He is such a good husband. He was happy with the little things I got for him. So I am hoping this weekend we can go for a burn. Christmas is such a fun day to see family, I love it.

So on Saturday night Robert took me on a helicopter tour of Salt Lake City. It was so
cool. The pictures are just a little blury do to the vibration from the helicopter. We saw temple square, then went up to the U on the mountain and then past the Hogle Zoo, which has cool lights up all over. It was so fun and amazing to see all the christmas lights from above. It was definitly romantic. Good job Robert!!! I am on the downhill slope of the sickness just in time for Christmas. So I am just about finished with the wrapping and am awaiting the arrival of Santa. Hope you all have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

So not much happened this week only that I thought I was experiencing the worst sickness ever. I started feeling really lousy on Sunday, and the on monday I still felt bad but thought once I get to work I'll be fine. But as the day went on I kept getting the achy feeling in my body and by that evening I thought I could no longer take it. So Tuesday morning I woke up with a fever. For 2 days this went on with hot and cold chills and the worst achyness in the world. So now I am on the road to recovery its just now a terrible cough. I think Robert is ready for it to be over I cough like every 5 minutes all night long. And I know the dogs a very annoyed over it because I toss and turn and cough all night long and they cant stay comfortable. SO I hope that none of you experience this because it really sucks. I am hoping today to get alot done. I am very behind on housework. yuck.

Busy

So I know I am slacking on new and exciting blogs, but I have been so busy its unbeleivable. Monday evening was the Charleston Town party. It was fun Santa was there and our friends the Edward's were there with their kids. Now I love these kids like my nieces and nephews. They were so excited to see Santa. Ellie even drew a wonderful picture for him. Next was the Pharmacy work party. It was catered by Tommy's BBQ. It WAS TO DIE FOR!!! I couldn't believe BBQ could be so good. We exchanged gift cards and it was fun to visit outside the Pharmacy. Next was Roberts work party. It was at the Jeremy Ranch clubhouse and was super good food as well. We exchanged white elephant gifts. It was hilarious to see people get so excited over such things. This morning was the Relief Society annual Christmas breakfast. It was very spiritual and helps you remember the true meaning of what its all about. And on top of it all I had only 3 extremely painful migraines this week. Its all about the pressures changing and the storms coming in. So now that this extremely exhausting week is coming to an end, I am hoping to catch up on some much needed rest. So I know this is a boring blog, but next weekend my sister, brother in-law and 4 nephews will be in town for the holidays. And I will have many fun things to post then. And I am so excited to see them its been a year since I have seen my nephews and in a year they change so much. We will also be getting family pictures I cant wait to see how they turn out. It may be a trick to get 10 adults and 9 kids to cooperate.

Robert

Ok so I received many comments on Robert needing to smile. His sister also read the comments and sent me an email saying he really does smile. Especially when he was little. I had to post this picture because it is so dang cute and he had no reason not to smile, because of the people he is with. In the picture is his Great Grandma and Grandpa Ford and Grandpa and Grandma Muir. His grandma Muir is holding him. He loves his Grandma Muir very much and he would do anything for her. So as a child Robert did smile!

Christmas Shopping!!!!!!!!

OK so I intentially started my Christmas shopping early this year, so I would not have to fight those long lines and crowds of people. Well I guess everyone else had the same idea. The last few weekends I did go shopping, they have not been so bad until YESTERDAY! Man every where we went lines of people at the checkout. Lines of cars to get around anywhere. Lines of people in the aisles. And to top it off nearly half of these people seem to be in a grumpy mood!!! Now really come on whats the deal! My mom and I were in Bath & Body Works my mom stood in line while I grabbed the items we were purchasing after waiting in line for I'd say oh 20 minutes we finally paid. I turned around to head down the aisle out of the very crowded store and some lady walking towards me with a wicker basket of candles whacks me so hard on the shoulder. As I realize what is happening I feel my sweater is snagged on her basket and she yanks it away nearly breaking her basket. As I regain my composer and walk away she didn't even apologize!! Now come on people is it really that important that you have to knock others over for. So after a long eventful day I am proud to say my shopping is complete. And if its not I do not plan to go out in that mess again!!!!! Next year I will shop online.....

O Christmas Tree

So I finally got my tree up and decorated. Robert went on a family outing and cut it down off the mountain for us. In his family its a tradition every year to go and cut down our trees. I was unable to go this year so I look forward to next year. So hope u can see the decorations in this picture. They are black and silver. I think a first my mom was like what black ornaments but now they are on the tree they look good. I am a fan of black now its my favorite color. Well I am getting into the Christmas spirit and every morning when my alarm goes off it is Christmas music blaring in my ear. I am looking forward to all the parties we will be attending and our Ward party is a Humanitarian project that is really a wonderful thing to be a part of ( more to come on that ).
